    Default Bloombergs gun control

the alert wasnt allowing comments, but here is MY email that i sent to the mayor of stroudsburg, note these are my words and thoughts, wonder what reply i will be recieving*

*note i am not asking for opinions or edits, simply hoping that everyone emails their mayors respectively with their own thoughts and feelings.

    Dear Sir,

It has recently come to my attention that several mayors across Pennsylvania have been added to a list of supporters for Ny Mayor Bloombergs strict unconstitutional anti-gun campaign, a lot of them have been added to this list unknowingly. Not only does this campaign violate our rights granted to us by the second amendment of the constitution, but it also incorporates underhanded tactics removing our rights as law abiding gun owners and people that legally retain a license to carry a firearm and protect ourselves and our families, and some of his guidelines have previously been found illegal by the state supreme court.

We must pride ourselves on the constitution as american citizens and remember our heritage and roots and not let our great state fall into the socialist guidelines of states like new york and new jersey, where people simply dont have the right to defend their own lives, this is a natural god given right.

If you have been unknowingly added to Mayor Bloombergs list please notify him immediately that you do not support his agenda and ask to be removed from his list of supporters. If you do support him i truly have a sorrow in my heart and a fear for what our beautiful commonwealth may become.

    thank you for your time.
    Brian

My E-mail to the Mayor of Coopersburg:

    Mayor Mack:

I am writing to you today as a concerned citizen of Coopersburg. Light has been shed on the fact that you have signed on to Mayor Mike Bloomberg's "Mayors Against Illegal Guns" (MAIG) coalition. The name might sound appealing, but it's what Mayor BLoomberg does and plans to do with this coalition that is truely frightening to law abiding gun owners. Most of the truth has been supressed.

To say first, while Pennsylvania may be a Democrat-elected state, Coopersburg and the surrounding areas are not. We don't want, or need New York-styled gun control in Pennsylvania. Pennsylvania is one of the most free states in terms of firearm legislation, and IS the reason I still reside in this state. Please don't drive law-abiding gun owners out of Coopersburg/Surrounding areas and Pennsylvania by siding with New York-styled Gun Control.

Next, Michael Bloomberg has used the MAIG coalition as cover to sue small town gun shops and put them out of business. His overzealous "investigations" were condemned by federal law enforcement officials and the Virginia Attorney General.

Mayor Bloomberg has signed the names of MAIG members to advertisements in Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and national newspapers attacking law-abiding concealed carry holders without seeking their approval. The ads say that these lawful gun owners "threaten the safety of our police officers." The ads also say that allowing us to cross state borders will "undoubtedly result in the deaths of more innocent Americans." This last statement is the most blastphemus statement of all.

Your stance on this issue DOES make a difference, Mayor Mack! After a local gun owner called, former Williamsport mayor Mary Wolf resigned and told Bloomberg, "I have learned that the coalition may be working on issues which conflict with legal gun ownership, and that some actions on your behalf are dubious." Recently, the mayors of Houston, Texas and Sioux Falls, South Dakota left because Bloomberg signed their names to advertisements, policy statements, and letters to Congress taking positions they did not even support!

This coalition of Mayors against guns is nothing short of a rabble rousing sham that needs to be shown the light of truth. The first step you can take is to resign from the "Mayors Against Illegal Guns" coalition. I'm sure this won't be the only e-mail or phone call you get reguarding this issue. I would love to hear back from you as far as your official stance and position, as well as whether or not your position has changed at all.

    Thank you for your time,
    Samuel and Vincent Ferrara
