Re: Glock 19 Extended slide release
I know when I installed the extended slide release on my Glock 27 those pins were a little difficult to get out. They needed a little more persuading than the others. It shouldn't be too difficult though, hopefully someone can give you another tip/trick.

Re: Glock 19 Extended slide release
these can be tough the first couple of times. this pin has two grooves cut into it. a good punch and a light hammer can help, don,t go crazy! also jiggle the slide stop around as you try. go left to right.

Re: Glock 19 Extended slide release
Wiggling the existing slide release while trying to push out the pin is the way to go. I've swapped out 6 of these so far. The little grooves in the factory slide release get caught up. Also, I never use a hammer when trying to take Glock pins out. Usually, just pushing them with a punch will do the trick. Having to use a hammer means you may be caught up on something which could get damaged by whacking on the pin.
I would rather die in a shootout than get assassinated in a "gun free zone"
