First time poster, question about Allentown show
Greetings- this is my first time posting here. I hope his is the right section.
I might be visiting Bethlehem in a couple of weeks, and I noticed there is a gun show in Allentown that weekend. I want to go to Cabelas- never been to one- and It looks like I'll be driving right by the show.
Have any of you guys been to this one? Is it worth it, or is mainly jerky and Klingon knives?
Thanks.Last edited by Gmountain; June 9th, 2013 at 12:10 AM.

Re: First time poster, question about Allentown show
If you are talking about the show on Bulldog Drive. It's a pretty decent show and Cabelas is only 20 minute ride from there. Is there a reason your coming up this way? I live near the Allentown show.

Re: First time poster, question about Allentown show
Honestly I don't think it will be worth your time unless the dealers have started to bring prices back in line. Its also a very tightly packed show with little room to move around.
Save the $7 and buy more at Cabelas (even if its just for Kettle Corn)

Save your time and money and just go to Cabelas...There is also the Heritage Guild in Easton.. Have not been there myself but it sounds likes it is worth visiting.

I don't know about Florida law but under federal law you can buy a rifle in another state from an FFL. And everybody with a table selling firearms will be FFLs in most (all?) cases.

Re: First time poster, question about Allentown show
Right down the street for HG is Sarco, you can stop in there also, great store to browse. Last show I was at was Ft. Lauderdale gun show, back in March. I was also at one in Palm Beach. The shows in Florida are much better than the ones up here. As soon as my wife says yes, I will be moving. I do get to spend a month or 2 in Florida every year.
