Default Anybody been to Frontsight in LV?

I was just wondering if anybody here has joined or been to one of their classes.
How was it? Would you go back? What did you like or dislike?

I haven't been to one of their classes. I suggest you Google them to find out some information that you might find relevant.

I have heard the instruction is good, but don't recomend signing up for any "memberships" unless you go in with both eyes open, i.e. INFORMED.

I've never been but will be in the Vegas area this spring and plan to go.

I've heard things pro and con and the founder definitely markets at every opportunity but the one thing that jumps out for me is how strongly he fights for 2A rights and puts his money where his mouth is on that score. He's also investing a ton of the profits back into the facilities there and wants to turn it into a genuine full service resort for gun training.

I'm hoping to head out sometime next year for a class -- be sure to check eBay for certificates much cheaper than the courses:

    For example.

I suggest you do a little more research... The reinvestment of funds is surely questionable...

There are enough reports out there to make me VERY suspect of this operation... If you're gonna invest in high level training, I'd suggest looking into gunsite or thunder ranch, with guys who have built their reputation over time and have proven track records.

I doubt I'd actually invest in one of the memberships, but *everything* I've heard about the training is actually positive. I was able to obtain a certificate for their 4-day defensive handgun course for free simply by posting a set of links up on my blog. Though that offer has expired, you can still get certificates on eBay cheaply.

If you sign up for a GOA (gun owners of america, the no-compromise gun lobby) life membership Frontsight will give you a free cerificate. I want to get a GOA life membership when I can afford it anyway, and a vegas vacation would be nice, so that seems cool.

Check out the website, and have them send you a free DVD. It is all about the ranges, the classes, and yes, the houseing. But all in all it is very pro gun. And will make you want to attend a class. It was very well done. I'ld go for a class if I had a chance. Don't think I'ld be interested in the housing.

One things for sure. Your neighbors are all pro gun.

The day they want my guns, they'll have to bring theirs!!!
