    Angry CC'er at work

A few minutes after I get to work today, one of my coworkers tell me of a guy who was CC and his female companion. This guy starts eating olives from the olive bar and the female tells him that he shouldn't be doing that. He tells her, as he pulls up his shirt to expose his side arm for a brief moment, "they won't say anything to me".

To say I was pissed at this is an understatement. If I was there when this happened I would have reamed this asshat a new cornshoot. How damn stupid can you be to, not only to do that but say that along with it. Every one I work with knows me well and for them to see how not happy I was after hearing that, well, they knew it was wrong and I'm going to leave it at that.

I did find out that if you carry either CC or OC you will most likely be OK. I talked to one of the managers and graced him on some of the finer points of carry laws and as long as you aren't doing anything threatening or stupid, you won't be bothered.

    Olives.

    Serious business.

On a serious note, there's not much to say other than "That guy is a dumbass."

Jeff, I'd like to talk to you a little more about this incident. I don't know your schedule but I'm around tomorrow. Thanks.

OK, maybe it's because I have no idea what an "olive bar" is, but I've read the OP twice, and I can't make much sense of it.

Think of a salad bar, but it usually is a variety of olives.
What I take from it is that the guy was sampling without paying and flashed his sidearm when confronted.

I took it to mean the guy was confronted by his own girlfriend.

Oh. Now I take it to mean that he was stealing food and figured that by exposing his handgun nobody would step forward to confront him.
