stopped in AMC theater, neshaminy PA
so a couple of my friends asked me and my gf to see a movie. I agree and we leave a few house later. halfway through the movie, my gf wanted to refill her small soda, that costed me $13.50 earlier and I grabed it and walked out. She of course follows me out, probably didn't want to sit by herself. So I'm in line and as I reach in my pocket to pay for the refill, the manager says:
MG: EXCUSE ME SIR, DO YOU HAVE A LOADED HANDGUN IN MY MOVIE THEATER?
ME: UHH, YES SIR I DO.
MG: ARE YOU SOME TYPE OF LAW INFORCEMENT OR SOMETHING?
ME: NO, I HAVE A LICENSE TO CARRY. WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE IT SIR?
MG: YES, SIR
READS AND HANDS BACK TO ME
MG: UMM, OK SIR. I'M TERRIABLY SORRY TO BOTHER YOU TWO AND INTERRUPT YOUR MOVIE, HERE'S A FREE TRANSFORMER POSTER AND THERE ISN'T GOING TO BE ANY PROBLEMS RIGHT?
ME: NO, NO PROBLEMS.
THEN I WALK INTO THE THEATER AND FINISHED WATCHING THE MOVIE.
now that is the only problem I ever had, I've been looked at millions of times bc there's a gun on my hip, but never a confortation. Funny thing is, I actually was conceling it the entire time, I guess when I reached into my pocket to grab the cash for the soda, my shirt lifted up and sat on top of my gun, thus exposing it. ALL IN ALL, GOT A FREE POSTER FOR OC!!! LOL
Enjoy.

The only problem I see with the whole thing is the use of the word "costed" in the manner in which it was used.

Neshaminy Mall is like 2 minutes from my house...Anybody know how the rest of that mall is for OCers? I still haven't worked up the nerve yet. But reading this sort of stuff definitely helps.

How is being asked by the manager about your firearm, on private property, a confrontation? If you were on my property with a gun I would asked you about it also.

I would have show him the license, too. I also have no problem with him asking.

Did you ask the mgr. if he had a license to steal from you?????
a small soda, that "costed" you $13.50 WTF???? Looks like free refills though??? Even so....
Now, granted I have not been to a movie theater in many years, but $13.50 for a small pop...Holy Sheeeeet!
However, I'm sure your GF is worth this extravagance
Anyway, decent encounter. And your choice on showing the LTCF. You'll get a lot of disagreement on that as you've seen.
But, what would he have done if you had not offered to show him....asked you to leave...called the cops...would have been interesting to find out.
