Blair County CCW
I am going to be in Blair county over Christmas and want to see if I can get my concealed carry license while I'm there.
Anyone able to give me info on the process of doing this in Blair county?
Are the permits in Blair county a hard plastic card or paper?

Re: Blair County CCW
Pa has preemption so a county or town or whatever can't make their own laws regarding firearms

Re: Blair County CCW
Are you an out of state resident? If so, you can get a PA LTCF from any county (supposedly). If a PA resident, you must get it from your county's sheriff.
In either case you must appear in person at the sheriff's office to have your photo taken, have your signature captured electronically and get the license.
The license is a laminated paper.

Re: Blair County CCW
In Blair County, the license is hard plastic, not laminated paper. Has been for years; I'm on my third LTCF, and only had a paper the first time.
