    Default Spent Shells

I save spent casings from the range for a few people. I was wondering is their any real value to them if I were just to start selling them by the pound?

Shells? You mean shotgun shells? Or, do you mean cartridge cases?

Reloaders will typically give you more than the scrap dealer.

Reloaders will buy once fired brass casings. Shotgun shells ... a lot tougher sell.

I just sold about a hundred pounds of un-reloadable cartridge cases about a week ago; they went for $ .88 a pound. It takes a SHITLOAD of .22 cases to make a pound!

Yeah I can see it.... 550 rounds fit in a small box, then you go and remove around 35% or better of the length of it when its fired.

Get a rake and go to the range lol What does someone do with un-reloadable shells?

BTW everyone I wasn't talking about shotgun shells, empty shell casings from handguns, sorry about the confusion.
