    Default Puma .480 Ruger Levergun????

Does anyone have one of these? Made by Legacy Sports International. I think after doing some reading I would like to have one. If anyone has any input it would be great. -BB

    I love lever guns!!

I own several carbines in pistol calibers and they are wonderful to shoot.

When doing my research to determine which manufactures to choose I read and heard great things about Legacy in general and Puma lever action rifles in particular--- they make a quality product for an excellent price.

Having said that, i have never purchased a Legacy product for one main reason: I buy American.

Henry and Marlin make quality lever guns, albeit at a premium price.

Do I like spending the extra cash to maintain my integrity?? No.

But I would rather support domestic manufacturers and their employees, than save as few dollars and export the rest.

BTW, Henry, Marlin, and Winchester big-bore lever guns can be found at very reasonable prices on the used market.

    Just my $0.02.

    Stay well.

I myself am a Winchester and Marlin lover but with that said I am really looking for that specific caliber in a levergun. I don't think it is offered by anyother firearms manufactures as far as leverguns go. A lot of pistol manufactures offer it in a revolver format.
