Looking for Pocono shooting place

Hello,
I am looking for a place in the Pocono's to shoot, not a range but a place to shoot steel plates, gallon jugs of water. I should say like a pit or open land that is ok to drive into and shoot? I belong to a local club be can't do this.

Any Ideas?

State gameland ranges are out. Same with most other ranges. You probably know that already. Did you call Sunset Hill Shooting in Henryville if they have an area to accomodate you(possibility).

Best bet is to find a landowner who has their own dump pile or area when they also shoot and get their permission. Compensate them somehow..barter...cash...pay for some upcomming bill whatever.

Just make sure you are in a local jurisdiction that permits the discharge of firearms or has no regulation agaainst it.
