Default Is there anyway to own a full auto rifle?

I've been checking out Ar's and such but unless I can get one that is full auto I don't see the thrill. Is there anyway to get a full auto rifle?

You bet, but I think anybody will tell you (including myself) that even a semi-auto AR-15 is tons of fun.

Be prepared to spend alot of cash for NFA firearms. Here's a thread that expains how to aquire them

    What Agent Smith said above...

However, go out back and plant 10-20 money trees first...

A legal full auto AR-15/M16 is $10K to $15K. give or take a couple $1K

Other than all the hoops to jump through it looks like it is just the $200 fee right? Same as a silencer?

Correct.... $200 transfer tax just like SBS, SBR, suppressors, DD's...

No new MG's can be created however after 1986 or 1987(cant remember year).

    Supply and Demand

Because no new machineguns can be created. Only those in existence prior to the 198* law going into effect are legal.

So even with paying the fee you still can't buy a military weapon? That is stupid!

now reading the other thread it says you can build one, does that mean I could convert one?

Converting, building and creating are the same thing. No new MG's after that '80s date... You can buy one that is already in existance.

You can build a SBS, SBR, Supp, DD and AOW - but no new MG's.
