Question Blackthorne Products - AR/AK Parts Kits?

Has anyone delt with these guys before? I'm shopping for a new upper, and thier prices look very good.

    Thanks Jay,

That's what I figured, as the old addage goes, what's seems too good to be true usually isn't...

Don't do it pal. Blackthorne is Hesse/ Vulcan Arms. They just keep on changing their name, but the product is the same POS. If you want an inexpensive AR kit I highly recoomend Del-Ton.

So if I'm looking at this right I can get a complete upper assembly and complete lower from del-ton for $650?

No other parts (besides magazine) required? just stick them together?

It does seem to be a cheap way to go, considering.

Yeah, or get a stripped lower and a kit and get out for $560.

All for 40 minutes of work putting the lower together.

After thinking this over, I think I'm going to go to Donley's in Quakertown and just have him build the upper I want.

Save some cash. Buy a $40 action block and I'll walk you through it. I took detailed pics of every step of my last upper build anyhow.

Wanna know the secret to building a tight shooting AR?.....
