Bloody armed man unnerves delivery driver
http://www.mcall.com/news/breaking/a...0,246267.story
The signs in this Allentown mystery pointed to something sinister, but in the end, there was a simple explanation.
A man answered the door for a food delivery driver Wednesday night, bleeding and holding a gun. The driver went home and the next day reported what he saw to Allentown police.
On Thursday, Allentown detectives responded to the man's home in the 300 block of 12th Street and couldn't make contact with him, but did find traces of blood, Allentown police Capt. George Medero said.
Fearing the worst, police cordoned off the streets around the home and began an investigation about 1 p.m. Thursday. Before long, the man and a woman who lived there returned, with an explanation.
The man, whom police did not identify, told police he had cut himself and was bleeding when he answered the door for the delivery driver, Medero said. He still had a small cut on his finger as proof.
He told police that he always has a gun on him at night for safety reasons, Medero said. The man has a license for the gun and no charges are being filed, Medero said.

So the delivery guy was so concerned that he reported it the next day?

Re: Bloody armed man unnerves delivery driver
The article states that he "has a license for the gun and no charges are being filed."
While both parts of the statement are true, linking them together are quite misleading.
Sorry Bim-slow typer.Every man is my superior in that I may learn from him.

1. "Guns" aren't licensed.
2. A license isn't required to posses a firearm within your home (even concealed!).
I would have not even answered the "Do you have a license?" query. Of course, I may have been a little more discreet displaying (or NOT displaying) the firearm when I answered the door.Get your "Guns Save Lives" stickers today! PM for more info.
