    Default question about an even trade

    i have a polytech aks-762 ak-47 under folder all matching numbers, a friend of mine wants to trade a springfield armory m1a m-14 semi-auto, even up... is it a good deal?

    Hell yes, in favor of you, unless his rifle is completely demolished. His rifle has a few hundred over yours, and a pre ban Chinese AKM is nothing to scoff at depending on the condition of your own gun.

    my ak is a closet queen, i got it from a guy about 9 yrs ago, he got it from a korean guy 25 yrs earlier. he said he put a box of shells through it, i put about 500 through it.its in AWESOME condition... my friends m14 is in pretty good to great shape. i just like the looks of the ak though, but for investment purposes i think i will side with you guys.....

    i was just on gunbroker and gunsamerica. i made up my mind... also he said he would throw in a 30 cal can of frankford arsenal match .308 on clips...he already gave me several boxes (un opened) last year so i know their real...

    If you have another AK, then trade.

    The PolyTech was selling in the 80's for the $2-300.00's, while the M1A's were what - $700.00+ back then?

    But...

    Given the political clime - the selling out of the USA to the ultra-liberal left 'cause everyone hates GeeDubb - you may NEVER be able to get another foreign-made AK or any foreign-made EBR.

    Yet SA will still be in business making M1A's. Same with ARs and Mini-14's.

    If anyone has the slightest inclination to a foreign-made EBR - better start buying them NOW.

    Im good on high cap stuff now, Im going to focus on a shotty and longer range shooting now....m1a would be decent as hell.

    i never considered that, i may have to think about this.
