New motorcycle...
My wife and I purchased a motorcycle this afternoon. It is a 2006 Suzuki C50T.
It looks like this::

It was a tad chilly on the ride home but I didn't care. I was thrilled to be back in the saddle. I'll get some real pictures posted in the next few days. It's too dark right now for good ones.Μολὼν λάβε

Re: New motorcycle...
The M50 was my first choice. I think my wife is right though. While I love the styling of the M50 the ride comfort of the C50 is much better. Neither of us have to reach forward on the C50 like we do on the M50. Long rides are going to easier on our backs on the C50.
My neighbor came over for a look when I got home. He has a Harley 1200 Sportster. He sat on the C50 and just drooled.
I've ridden his bike and found the seat position to be a bit uncomfortable. After just a 10 minute ride I felt it between my shoulder blades from reaching for the drag type bars he's got on it. There's no way I'd want to ride his bike for more than 30 minutes.Μολὼν λάβε

Re: New motorcycle...
I agree.....the C50 felt better to me also.......
I would be happy with either the M50 or C50....I just wish I could have convinced my kid that crooked teeth were in, and braces were out of style.Μολών λαβέ

NIce bike man...
At Andrew's Cycles in OH, they still have an 07 M180 or M109? I don't remember the model codes for Boulevards, but it was the Blue with white stripe limited edition. It was falling in price slightly, but not enough. My better half said no 3 or 4 times. But I'm thinking of just taking a ride and bringin her home!
Sweet bike dude. They ride really sweet. I like the rivetted leather work a lot too.

Re: New motorcycle...
Thanks for all the compliments guys.
Believe me when I say that picture does not do it justice. Out in the sun this afternoon it just sparkled.
The Suzuki M109 has an 1800cc engine that makes about 127 horsepower. Oddly enough that how much power the engine in my car makes.Μολὼν λάβε

Re: New motorcycle...
Nice ride, now get into the wind, it's only cold for the first few minutes, then the adrenaline from the excitement of the new bike warms you up. I bought my Road King at the beginning of winter, I was out every day there was no ice or snow on the ground, one day it was only 10 degrees, put 9000 miles on it the first year.
If ya dress right you can ride in any weather, but when it's real cold I don't go in doors much in between leaving and getting back home. That's what makes you real cold, go inside and start to sweat with all your gear on.
RIDE FREE,
Bill
