Default Primer broke in half (picture inside)

So I decided to take my girl shooting for her birthday today. She is shooting my G26 and it failed to go boom when she pulled the trigger. She put it down on the bench. I dropped the magazine and cleared the round. As you can see the primer was struck, but the bullet failed to fire. I showed the guy and he said, that was the second one in half an hour from the 115gr Remington 9mm ammo. The other bullet went off, but the primer was missing just like mine.

Right before that happened, I figured i'd try my luck with the Droid camera.

I don't think the primer broke in half.

It looks more like the primer was seated sideways in the pocket. I've had this happen to me on occasion using my Dillon R550B sometimes the primer will turn in the cup and be seated improperly.

I've never seen it before on factory ammo.

Plus, it looks like she has boobies

BTW your camera has a pretty slow shutter speed to pick up the pistol & your girl's arms in recoil.

It was taken with a phone camera, also that looks like a luck shot, snapped at that split second where there was a lot of motion. Not many cameras would captured that picture. If it had been a commercial grade camera the picture effects wouldn't be as cool anyway! I like the pic man!

Thanks. I like how you can see the recoiled gun in the shadow.

Nice to see that Firing Line hasn't collapsed in on itself yet with a big, dusty WHOOSH ...

Agreed on the sideways primer. Happens every once in awhile when I'm reloading. Never seen on factory ammo but havent shot that in years either hehe.
