    Default CCW Question

    Question guys can you ccw a rifle if you have a permit to carry. Such as a rifle with folding stock, pistol grip shotgun in your car..not on your person of course

    The short answer is no. You can carry an SBR but your going to need to pay that federal tax to own it. You can carry a shotgun with less than an 18" barrel. Again you need to pay that tax. So, without going through all those federal hoops the answer is no.

    Well I didn't mean class 3 weapons I meant a stock yugo ak with folding stock or an 18 in moss with a pistol grip

    No... No loaded long guns whatsoever in a vehicle.

    Only pistols and revolvers with barrels less than 15", shotguns with barrels less than 18", rifles with barrels less than 16", and shotguns/rifles with overall lengths less than 26". Everything after "15"," is NFA class 3 stuff.

    you can legally carry a long gun (AK with folding stock counts as long as the barrel is at least 16" long) openly or concealed *on foot* in PA with or without a license. (i would expect to get some unwanted attention in some places, though.)

    as others have posted, though, you cannot carry a loaded long gun in vehicle even if you do have an LTCF.

    but you can carry it in your car UNLOADED, with the full magazines (as many as you want) separated ,all you want to.......you know......just in case.....
