    Default Remapping a standard keyboard

How would I go about remapping the number pad portion of a standard keyboard? I would like to change the assignments for tilde, numlock, /, *, - and + to frequently used keystrokes. Specifically F3, F4, F5, F8 and paste (ctrl+v).

Does anyone know of a way within Windows XP to change the mapping, or will I have to find a 3rd party program?

Any input (pun intended) would be appreciated.

Be painfully carefully when in your registry. You will destroy your computer and have to completely reinstall if you wreck the registry.

Make sure you make a copy of your registry first, that way if you screw up it's not big deal.

Make an Emergency Repair Disk (if you still have a floppy drive) before you begin to work.

Make me a turkey sandwich on a croissant with lettuce tomato and mayo before you start.

    Just how old are you?

    3.5" or 5 1/4" old?
It is you. You have all the weapons that you need. Now fight. --Sucker Punch

Ha, I came into contact with about 30 5.25 disks at work. I wish we had a computer old enough to use them. I would store some text files on there in a heartbeat. Use them as a regular storage medium. Expecting people to be able to use it!
