Just an innocent thought-PA First Rifle Regiment
So, since this is the Pennsylvania Firearm Owners Association, how about using the flag of the PA First Rifles as a secondary logo or something? It's my avatar, and the writing that is on the flag is in my signature.
I'm not trying to just look cool or anything, but I do think that it would be a neat historical connection. Trying to find info on this regiment is difficult to say the least. I LOVE the PAFOA icon, I just like this one too.
More info here:

And after looking on the internet for over half an hour, it appears that the site that I got some of the info in my signature line is doesn't exist anymore. They fought in every single major engagement of the Revolution, this banner was carried through every one of the thirteen colonies, and at times, they were the personal bodyguard of General Washington.Flag of the Pennsylvania First Rifle Regiment.

I realize that this would be entirely up to Dan and Doug but I kind of like this idea. It makes a statement without being unnecessarily nasty about it and it is something that we could all readily recognize.

I like the idea of simply adding Domari Nolo to the PAFOA graphic.

Re: Just an innocent thought-PA First Rifle Regiment
For those who may not know:
“Domari Nolo” is Latin for "I will not be subjugated". It was the regimental motto of the First Continental Regiment. It was a rifle battalion that was formed by the Continental Congress in response to the Lexington/Concord engagements. The members were from what is now south central Pa., primarily what is now York, Adams, Franklin and Bedford Counties. They were a rifle unit. To get into the unit you had to be able to consistently hold an 8" group at 200 yards while moving from one location to another. They served with Washington from July of 1775 to the end of the war. They were always between Washington's forces and the enemy, whether the army was advancing or they were covering the armies retreat. They were known for their exceptional skill, loyalty to one another, loyalty to the cause of independence and their fierce personal independence. The surnames of the members of the regiment are in the current phone books for the same counties from which they came. Members of the Team share those surnames and are descendants of those regimental members. Team members share many of the same attributes of those men who used “Domari Nolo” as their motto.

Re: Just an innocent thought-PA First Rifle Regiment
I had a thought, if the PFOA logo was subject to copywrite when they went thru the process to get the site as a legal NPO and to modify it would be a big costly mess, forgetaboutit.
