Default With GRoPA out of commission for now, who are you using for transfers?

I have 2 handguns that I am selling to a close friend of mine, looks like it'll be this weekend. My old dealer there seems to have gone out of business, so I need a place with decent transfer fees who's open on Saturdays in the Pittsburgh area (McKeesport or Bridgeville area or close by). Anyone have any ideas? I'd like to keep it to $25 per transfer or less and none of that sales tax or registration fee bullshit some dealers stick you with.

    Crap.
I recently called a bunch of shops in the eastern part of town to get transfer fees, but the list is at work.

I THINK Allegheny River Arsenal was $20-$25
    Same for Braverman's.

If you want to pm me an e-mail or phone number, I can get you more info tomorrow.

I know Phil's archery in Mckees Rocks was charging $25 if you had a firearm delivered to him.

Yeah, you have to be clear when you ask about pricing... some charge one thing when both parties are present in-store, but to accept a package for transfer, they charge twice as much.
You know - cause those boxes are SO heavy, and then there is all the extensive work that is involved in placing said box on a shelf until the customer can pick it up.

Ended up hooking up with John@JCDLESales for the transfer, super awesome guy and Pafoa member to boot. Made my friend's first transfer super painless. Definitely a good guy.

I too am very interested in this thread! I used GRoPa two times and was hoping to go back many many more. Too bad he closed shop I need a new place. If anyone has any more suggestions on where to go, that'd be really beneficial. I was planning on buying a lower receiver for an AR15 today and having it sent to GRoPa. Luckily I checked his website first...

In the meantime, I'm going to email John@JCDLEsales and see if he would be able to help me out with this transfer.
