Is it reasonable to ask for discount from FFL when transferring 10 stripped AR lowers
Is it reasonable to ask for discount from FFL when transferring 10 stripped AR lowers? FFL will run one background check (pics?) for all of them. But he will have to do separate paperwork for each one? My FFL charges $25 per transfer. So is it reasonable to offer less for a batch? Instead of $250, maybe $150?

Up to five firearms can be compiled onto one 4473.
So thats only two sets of paperwork. Its been a while since i have done that many on one transaction, but im pretty sure only one PICS call is made and the same approval number can be used on both forms.
I personally wouldnt charge a transfer fee for all 10, probably three or four.HGW, llc ~ Title 1 & NFA sales/manufacturing ~ Transfers - Title 1 $20 - NFA $50

Except for a little more paperwork on my part-- it is the same as ONE firearm.

Ok, my ffl wrote me back: "$25.00 for the first one and $10.00 for each additional."
What you guys think? Fair?

From $250 to $115? Fair.
