Default Finding yourself in another state

I had to make a run today that brought me close to the New york border. Well it was close enough that gps thought it would be good to take a 30 mile short cut into New York.

    This has happened once before.

Each time I paid close attention to the speed limit and any signage and got back on out side of the border as fast as I could.

What do you do when you end upon the wrong side of the border by accident?

Thankfully it hasn't happened to me yet.

You end up in a Mexican jail for 5 months, while the State Dept ignores you, and the governor of CA wines & dines the Mexican president.

Oh! You mean NY? Pretty much the same thing.

Like I have said I treat the New York border as the Iron Curtain. I know exactly where it is at all times.

Call the dog sitter, explain it will take a while.. Ask the dogs to forgive you.. Don't bend down for the soap..

    Sad state huh?

I tried to rep, but I need to spread some around.

To the OP, if I was carrying I would treat that border like a forcefield. I'd rather break a traffic law in PA then risk being caught in NY with my weapon of mass destruct........I mean pistol.
