    Default Funny OC-CC event

Hubby and I went to an Irish Pub today to shoot pool. We had our guns CC'd.

Today my sweater kept riding up over my holster. The pool table is in the back of the bar where the exit is and also the restrooms. It's pretty busy.

I was leaning against the drink railing, one leg down, the other behind me with my foot on the lower rung. My holster was showing about 1/2 way, I left it like that.

One man walked out the exit door and stopped briefly with a huge wide eyed look at me and my hip.

Another man while walking into the mens room glanced at me. Then came to a halt, while holding the door open and an "omg, that WOMAN has a gun" look on his face. When he realized I was looking at him, he tried to get into the mens room quickly but ended up nearly smacking his forehead into the door he was still holding open. After a few awakward steps he got in. It was comical to say the least. When he finished his business in there, he came out with speed, not glancing in our direction at all.

Good thing he didn't hit his head on the door, I would have had to lay down and laugh my ass off and it wouldn't be quiet!

Wow, this bar's so tough, even the women have guns! She must be IRA!

I've noticed that some people, when they see my gun, are afraid to look at me, speak to me, or even get close to me It is almost like they think I will shoot them if I notice them, or if they let me know that they know I have a gun.

It's a good thing you already have a man, you'd get no phone numbers from any men!

The incident may or may not have had anything to do with the gun on your hip. Some women project an aura of self-confidence, sensuality and sexiness that they have been known to cause traffic accidents while walking alongside the roadway. Perhaps it was that. Which would you prefer to think it was?
