S&W 4596 45acp Lew Horton produced in May of 2000
So I purchased this S&W a few years back. Thought I would post up pictures and it’s history. If anyone else has one please feel free to reply with your review.
Only info on these per Lew Horton (Yes I emailed and asked) is:
“This gun was specially built with a short slide on a full size frame. That's what made it custom. As for the number produced 500 is accurate which makes it rare.”
OK, basically it’s a 4516 3.75" upper w/night sights on a 4506 8-round full-size frame. My gun was produced in May of 2000.
