I have been convicted of theft by unlawful taking. I was initially charged with a bunch of things but plead it to just TBUT (theft by unlawful taking) which is a misdemeanor and did 1 year of probation. Will this charge disqualify me? Is this why I'm in research status? Any insight or experience with this would be greatly appreciated.

WRONG! M2's in pa with UP TO 2 YEARS does NOT make you a prohibited person.
I know plenty of people who carry, purchase and possess with a M2(s) on thier record.
