Default HELP!! Sig P320 safety lever spring location.

To all the p320 owners out there, I disassembled my 320 to polish all the intervals and this spring came out and for the life of me, can't find where it goes. It works properly with out it, but would like to know where it goes... here is a pic of it.

Looking at the assembly from the bottom, it's just above your trigger linkage spring, tucked in that little nook, applying pressure on what I believe is part of the safety linkage (the part moved forward by the trigger linkage and pops up under the slide, right side of firearm). You wouldn't notice it in normal operation because the trigger spring is also applying the same force in the same direction.

Thank you sir! I figured it had something to do with that because it would not return to the home position any cause issues with putting the slide back on. Thanks again

You're welcome, no trouble at all. Does polishing the parts make much of a difference on the P320? I've polished other triggers, but figured this Sig is really nice right out of the box.

I just picked up another full sized plastic grip assembly this week; I'm going to try my hand at grip stippling. I figured for $33 it's worth a try!

The same thing happened to me. Youtube helped me fix it.

Polishing all the parts actually took off a couple pounds of the trigger pull. Really smooth as well. I got the apex flat trigger which is really nice and predictable.
