I think theres a place in/near Philly that does it. I do believe they have FFL too so you could ship it to them. Give me a few minutes and I'll do some digging on the 'net for info. I looked into getting them to black chrome my 1911 awhile back, never got around to doing it though.

Evolution Gun Works does a great hard chrome....but that comes out matte.

Find a bike shop and ask them who does their plating. not a lot of people do chrome in house because of the horrid chemicals it takes to do it, and the constant upkeep of the baths.

Keep in mind, that if the chrome shop keeps the receiver overnight they need to have at least a Type 01 or Type 02 FFL because they are eccentually "gunsmithing". If they can do it in your presence and not keep it overnight, then any chrome shop can do it.

BTW, I couldn't find the company that I had planned to use. I may have the info at home on my PC there though. (out of town now)

I would appriciate if you can get me the info when you get home.
There is a custom bikeshop in StateCollege. I'll swing by there and ask tomorrow about where they get chrome done.

I didn't realise its this hard to find a chromeshop for the gun.
