As far as I know, you have to have your 120 to work in our PD's. New Castle's Mayor tried firing the newest police officer to save money, and most other townships have combined or gone to part-time police. There's just no money for police... They usually advertise in the New Castle News when they are hiring. You could send out applications to the various PD's. Most places though require you to live in that city while working as a police officer... I know New Castle gives you something like 6 months to move into the city limits after hiring you or you'll lose your job...

It's the same way with the city FD, you have to be a city resident... Police academy is a good move, it's finding a job that's tough...

In Grove City, we rarely have any turnover, so we nearly never have a full-time position available. We're always looking for part-time officers, but they tend to scoot once they get experience and can find a full-time slot elsewhere.

I just heard an officer left recently, but I don't know if he was full or part time. I imagine we'll be doing civil service testing. If you want to know, I can find out...
