    Default Insight M6 Tactical Light

Does anyone have the Insight M6? If so what are your thoughts?

i have a couple, i also have one of the ones that has the red led nav light instead of the laser. that one is on a g22 that has a lasermax unit and i use it for my nightstand gun.

they all work really well but i would like to see a more compact model.

If i were going to buy a weaponlight for a pistol today, I would look into ones that use a high-flux LED. (TLR1, SSL1, X200), and possibly even wait for these lights to become available with the new High efficiency 3 watt emitters from SSC and CREE

A quick comparison with crappy cell phone footage. (clearly, this only captures the hot spot and not the spill, which is way better on the second light)

First is a Luxeon 3 overdriven to 3.3 watts. Next is a Gladius Modified with a Seoul P4 LED. I'm moving it down my lawn to the shed over 100ft away. The advantage with the new generation led's is apparent, one puts out about 80 lumens, one about 180, and the latter has longer battery life.

It works great. I just took it off my colt carbine and put it on my new cx4 today. suits the beretta better. the light is good for close range. The lazer is good for day or night. pretty strong lazer. hope this helps.
