Default In Praise of 'older' Women

I have been amazed over the past few weeks by several women that I thought we 'okay' years ago, only to see them in newer movies and be BLOWN away.

Sure some young 'chippy' might be nice to look at for a while but I personally have come to the point in my life where while looks are important, substance in the woman adds a LOT to her.

I won't talk about Tootie this second, even though she is part of this equation but these couple of movies really made me think.

The first one was 'Handcock' .. Tootie and I watched it for the first time about a month ago and to be honest I was thinking through the whole first part "Who is this AMAZING looking blonde" .. we finally realized it was Charlize Theron. Now I remember her from movies like "The devil's advocate" and personally she just "didn't do it for me" but 11 years later in this movie I was saying "Holy SHIT".

Next flick, The wrestler (which BTW I thought SUCKED) but we were watching it last weekend and I was saying "who the HELL is this amazing looking stripper, Tootie kept saying Marisa Tomei but I kept saying there's no way. After a quick search at imdb I was like "Holy SHIT that is her"

So I got to thinking, here are two women that most men would think (if they weren't stars) are "past their prime" and all I can think of saying is BULLSHIT.

To me, I would rather stare at, watch, or talk to a women that has "matured well". There's something about a woman that isn't a bubbleheaded tennie bopper that has taken care of herself ... THAT is what I call SEXY.

I told Tootie something over a year ago (in front of her mother BTW). I said "You know, you have 'grown into' your beauty. Tootie, at first was taken aback but even her mom piped in and told her what a nice compliment it was. I think of her when we first met (she was 21) and while she was sexy then I look at her now and say "HOLY SHIT YOU ARE HOT" and it all comes down to that maturity combined with taking care of herself.

I think about this a lot too in the "gun babe" and "girls that need guns" threads ... there are a lot of the "porcelain doll" types in there and man that just isn't a 'real' woman!

So let's hear it .. is it just me or is there something about a mature woman that takes care of herself, has that look in her eye that tells you she KNOWS what she wants and KNOWS how to 'take care of her man' and has the confidence in her step that makes you say WOAH or what?

Oh and yes, feel free to post pics of these HOT 'older women' .. let's see how many AMAZING looking "over 40" year olds we can drool over (and I guess I need to find a great pic of my sweety to post)

What do ya' think, boys. Is Dalton in the "dog house " or somethin' ?
Sounds like he's lobbyin' for some wiggle room here or somethin'. He must have REALLY done it this time. Think Tootie' gonna' buy it ?? LOL

My dog "Ruger" is worried about the economy because Alpo is up to $3.00 a can. That's almost $21.00 in dog money.

Pray for our troops....and a little extra for our snipers.

No sorry bud, no dog house this week just something that has been on my mind for a long time ... and Tootie knows it.

You obviously have no clue how unique Tootie and my marriage is

Ehh... regardless of what the disclaimers say, I'm not really trying to get it on with a warm bucket of water. I'll take the tight 18yr old nymph any day. Unless the cougar has a bankroll...
