Continental Congress 2009
This grass roots CC2009 event is NOT a Constitutional Convention, which we are wholeheartedly against as such a Convention would only serve to limit our unalienable rights. They are easily confused, especially because it's been 225 years since "We The People" have had to convene a Continental Congress.andFor two weeks in November, delegates representing The People of the fifty states will join together in the tradition of the Founding Fathers and their Continental Congress of 1774. Continental Congress 2009 will convene as a national assembly of We The People and attest to the increasing abuses of our Governing Documents. Together, we will decide what peaceful, legal steps can be taken to bring about compliance with our Freedom documents.plus a youtube video;
This looks promising!
Any thoughts and/or ideas on this?Last edited by buster2209; November 9th, 2009 at 07:20 PM.

Re: Continental Congress 2009
According to cc2009.us, the one beginning in a few days is in St Charles,Illinois.
I think you are referring to the PA delegate selection to send to the CC2009.

Re: Continental Congress 2009
Why not amend the constitution? Are we not in the position we're in because the constitution has been taken advantage of? I rather think some new amendments are quite necessary, to limit the government.
