    Default FFL-1 to FFL-3 sale??

If an FFL-1 has a qualifying pistol (1918 Colt 1911, ie) for sale and a person with a C & R license wants to by it face to face in the FFL-1's shop,,,,,,,,, does it have to go thru the PICS check? Does the PSP form have to be filled out? How about a qualifying rifle?

I'm wondering,,,,, as I may try to buy some at a show or shop,,,, and I want to make sure we both follow the law.

As an FFL-1 Dealer, all I would need from you as a FFL-3 C&R would be a copy of your C&R, your ID (My rule, not ATFs. I do that to verify the C&R holder) and your method of payment. I in turn would give you recipt with the weapon type and serial No., my name, addrress and FFL no. All I have to do on my end is log it out to you and you have to log it in from me. That's it.
