Default where to find a bulgarian ak 74 receiver

I am looking for a nice bulgarian ak 74 receiver that does not need much work to it. I have a parts kit for awhile now and finally want to get it running. Anyone have any ideas of a good place to get one let me know.

hey buddy, i am a fan of the ohio ordnance receivers, but i'm sure some nodakspud fan will be along to bash them in a minute or so. ohio ordnance makes their receivers in 2 types, for 47 and for 74, with different ejector lengths. they don't drill any trunion rivet holes, so can be used for any pattern build.

I have two AKs with Nodak receivers, both run very well & are indistinguishable from imported receivers, except for the markings. One is built on an NDS2 variant (photo).

I highly recommend Nodaks. I won't bash any other receivers, since I understand there are other good options as well. Here's the info for the NDS-2:

    Also see NDS-2 "EZ".

Here's my daughter firing an MD63 built on a Nodak NDS-1:

Thanks for the info. Is that receiver pretty much together with trunion holes and all?

If you're referring to the Nodak models, why don't you ask them?

NDS are supposedly the best USA made stamped recvrs. Have a Polski and 2 Yugos with NDS rcvrs and they seem perfect to me.

    +1

Ask any of the builders which one they like the best and they all will say NDS. NDS will have the highest resell value too.

The only one that people avoid like the plague are the Hesse receivers.

    WTB - NDS3 or NDS1 receiver FTF
