    Default Home Setup

I was curious if most people setup their house to be "user friendly" Do you have guns hidden through out the house. Also any books/websites on tactical situations in the house. I personally have a gun with in 15 feet of me at all times and a knife no more then 8 feet away from me. Also positioning of furniture.

I just carry my gun all the time, solves the issue of being x feet of a gun. Only time im not is when im in bed - and if Im getting up at night, I get the "fun gun" out.

I also usually always have the gun on me. Or very very close. This way if I need it its there. And if its with me there is 0 chance of the little one getting to it. Though we drill it into his head never to touch our guns.

Not something to post on the internet. Just go watch the movie "The Garden of Good and Evil."

rather than teaching him not to touch them, of course if he's too young than it's different, but teach him how to properly handle 1 and the safety precautions.

My grandfather, who was a cop for 37 years, used to hide guns all over the place. Drove my grandmother nuts and was pretty wacky if you ask me. Especially since he'd forget were he put them. But then again ol' Gramps was a bit "eccentric".

At home I usually keep my BUG in my pocket around the house, and keep the rest locked up.

A few well placed shots could solve that problem.

Bring enough gun. Notice the scale compared to the toaster and coffee pot. This one would maim the mailman if I'd let him. Ever see a cat try to shoulder through glass?

Besides....all I need is a little warning. The cats are the least of your worries.

That does look like a well placed shot.
Any cat that drinks Bacardi by the shot can't be all bad.
