Of course... a gun is always loaded. If only we could cut the PC cancer and teach that to kids every year in school.

What happens if you accidentally let the rubber band go, and it snaps back against the trigger? OOOPS!

As you know, it is virtually impossible to know if a gun is loaded or not.
    Fail in the first degree.

Unless you leave loaded guns laying around and let strangers into your house when your not there, I don't see the point of this product. For one, a loaded gun should either be in a safe or on your person. (okay there are a few exceptions, but not many) Also, someone who is not knowledgable about guns will think they can unload it by removing the magazine.

I think it is a great product, I plan on buying a few. Of course they will be going on my wrist so as everyone will know that I am loaded and capable of going off at any moment.

They would also be a good thing to give out @ bars or parties to indicate who should not be served anything else.

That actually seems like a more useful purpose for this product than its original intent. Like someone else said, a gun is always loaded. I don't need a label to tell me so, and neither does anyone else in my house. I also can't imagine this being a deterrent to anyone who accidentally stumbled across a loaded gun, and it definitely wouldn't make the situation any safer if a child was to find an unattended gun.

I also think the design of this product can lead to even more unsafe conditions than simply not using it. To put the product on you must hold the gun in an improper manner, which could lead to any of many bad situations. Because it covers the trigger, it also renders the gun unusable until removed, at which point it would be quicker and safer to unload the gun and reload when necessary.

My suggestion would be to just put a big LOADED sticker directly onto all of your guns, and maybe a few on your holsters just so everyone around you will be safe. Maybe even a LOADED shirt whenever you carry so even those at a distance will know.

You see, that is the beauty of it. You can now just load up everything, slap one of these on, and leave it laying around the house. A breeze blowing your papers around? Put a gun on them. The door swinging closed? Put a gun in front of it. Children need a beating? Hit them with a gun. With this, all liability is removed. If someone shoots themselves, or another person, it isn't your fault, because they know it is loaded.

Lets face it, it isn't like one of the key rules to fire arm safety is "Treat every gun like it is loaded". That would be expecting too much from people.
I'm so fast, I can bump fire a bolt action.
