    Default Push Mowers

Well I'm currently on the market for a good push mower. My old one of about 15 years bit the dust the other day. I was browsing the internet and see you can get them with about everything including a cup holder. ha ha. I just need a plain jane one the cuts grass nice and is dependable and not to high priced. Any suggestions? I was looking at some on Sears and notices they must have a sale going.
    Thanks in advance
they're selling make believe and we don't buy that here

I use a reel mower. Well actually I don't, my kids do.

They're quiet, good for the grass, and never run out of gas.

The only downside is if the grass gets too long they won't work. So I bought a gas mower on Craigslist. $75 and practically new.

I have the cheapest Lowes one. Its a Bolens. It starts on the first pull even if you lazy pull it. Runs perfect. It was only around $150.

Got mine at Wal-Mart a couple of years ago. MTD brand. Cuts broken tree branches, rocks, soda cans, dead animal carcasses, trash, and even grass.

Granted it's not the cheapest... but you get what you pay for.
    Nothing runs like a Deere.
    I have

7hp will cut grass as tall as you and beg for more.
Only downfall is the swivel casters on the front, it won't let you get real close to objects in front of the mower.
You can't buy anything more powerful unless you go commercial and or rider.

I picked one up from WM last year. It's an MTD with a Honda engine. Cost around $129. It doesn't have self-propulsion or variable throttle. It's just a mower that does a darn good job cutting my 50x150 lot.

You just can't beat a Honda engine for reliability. If you wan't uber-sweet, buy a Honda push mower...but you'll pay dearly.
