Default Machine guns, cigars, and scotch - weekend in review

a few friends and I decided to take our better halves up to one of my buddies mountain house for a weekend of shooting, hiking, drinking and all around fun.

We arrived late Friday, unloaded and headed to the local dive bar/resturant (only one in the area). The rest of the group met us there and we proceeded to consume every fried edible/barely edible piece of food and beer in the place. We returned home to turn in Early... Early ended up with the ladies going to bed and the boys partaking in cigars and scotch into the wee hours.

Saturday we get up early to head to the range, Heidi (my friend for the weekend) had never shot before so I give her the run down on safety, gun mechanics, etc and started her with my 220... She loved it. I moved her up to a 22 rifle which she thought was "weak" and demanded the AK and AR (which she also loved), finally as she grew bored of "one pull one shot" we set her up with a sterling machine gun... She was hooked.

Present at the range was a. 9mm suppressed Uzi, a suppressed SCAR Heavy, and a few other odds and ends. We stretched the kimber 308 I brought to 550 yards which was the farthest I've ever shot it, I think I want to get into more long range shooting... It really is addicting.

Saturday night ended much the same as Friday... No complaints there. Sunday it was sleeting and raining, the ladies stayed inside and the boys set out to blow stuff up. We brought some left over pumpkins to fill with Tannerite and float in the lake, tons of fun!

Sorry for the long winded write up, on to the
    pics and videos.

In the .308 vs picture what are the two things half way between the gun and the explosion?

That's very cool of you to share the joy with someone. We need a lot more people to follow your example.
