Default How rare are USGI marked thompson MG mags?

I ordered 4-30rd TSMG mags from sportsman guide. Three of the mags are stamped "Seymour Ordnance". The fourth mag is stamped "USGI .45 30" but is dented and cannot be loaded.

I called sportsmansguide to ask about getting a replacement sent out to me. They want me to mail back the USGI mag which cost $17 for a replacement. I would rather keep the dented USGI mag if its worth any money.

Any idea on the rarity of these U.S. marked stick mags? Or is a dented one worth about $17?

    Thanks guys!

Unless there is some rare type of them I see surplus ones come up for sale all the time for $20-$35. Apparently they do not work with the newer carbines sold by Kahr so that has probably kept prices down and supplies relatively abundant for 70 year old magazines.
