Scranton Cultural Center
Have tickets for a show at the cultural center next week. Does anyone know if they have restrictions on carrying a firearm?
Thank you

Re: Scranton Cultural Center
Never saw any signs at the place. Of course, that'll change as soon as someone open carries there, LOL.

Re: Scranton Cultural Center
My day job is live concert promotions. We do a few shows a year at the SCC, but most of our stuff is based around Philly. All of the venues that the companies I work for own, are no weapons of any kind allowed & I would be surprised if the SCC doesn't have that as their "official" policy. That being said, for a venue like this where it's a mix of shows, they probably won't have security frisking people unless it's a rock/rap/electronic show etc. If it's a Celtic Thunder show or something like that, you should be fine. The worst that can happen is that you'll go to the door, see they're frisking / checking people in line & you'll have to go out & put your gun in your car for the show.
Good luck,
Jay

Re: Scranton Cultural Center
Is it owned by the city? If so they can not legally restrict firearms.
Which does not mean they won't kick you out. It just means you have a lovely lawsuit.
All depends on who owns the property, & how much skin you have in the game."Cives Arma Ferant"
