    Default purchased a glock 19

well, having said i hate glocks, i went and purchased one, a G-19

not liking the heavy trigger pull of my p-11 and not getting used to the da/sa thing (sa on second shot) on my other carry weapons

looking around on what was available at a reasonable price with da only with lite trigger pull, i decided on a glock

since my hand guns are carry self defence weapons it will be a while befor i carry it.

i don't want to carry a new to me hand gun i have not practiced with untill and have the utmost confidence in it and my ability to use it. all guns seem to have their own personality and quirks (i don't want a case of 'glock leg')

i have a cheepo 'fogus' holster for it at the moment but have not decided on a REAL one yet, most likely a high end IWB

of course i told my wife after the purchase !

I think you'll like that Glock 19. They are, IMHO, the best pistol Glock makes (after the 17).
If you're going to carry IWB, make sure you get a holster that doesn't collapse when you draw. This is more for reholstering the pistol which is what I think is most dangerous when carrying IWB (which I no longer do).
Also, those 19's are a bit wide, so you may want to pick up a couple pair of jeans and/or trousers that are a couple sizes bigger then you normally wear.

Thumbs up Re: purchased a glock 19

You will be happy with the G19. I have a G23 and have come to appreciate the Glock Trigger. It is neither Double action nor single action. Glock calls it "safe action". I recently upgraded the connector to a Ghost Rocket 3.5# connector with trigger stop. The trigger is so sweet, I would swear it fires by mental telepathy.

Your collection is not complete without at least one Glock. They're a bit heavy, but you'll soon begin to appreciate the relability of a Glock. It's pretty tough to spend $500 better.

Welcome to the dark side. I carry a G23, as my primary CCW, after years of carrying a SIG 226. You will get used to, and learn to like the trigger.

    What, no photo?
(Hey, it could look different than my G19!)

    Congrats.
I'm very happy with mine. It's about as ugly as you'll find without buying a Hi-Point, but I didn't buy mine to look at.
I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

    CrossBreed SuperTuck IWB

I've got one for my Glocks and I love it. The leather backer makes it comfortable, the kydex makes it fast. It's not pretty though, if that's what you're after.

I'm not sure about the "SnapLok clip," but the belt loops work.

Correction: the leather makes it comfortable, the kydex makes it breakable.

Who's been telling you kydex is faster than good leather?
