    Default Howe's this look

    Needed more room in the safe. I seen this done somewhere. And decided to give it a try. Those are little wood spools.I did not get enough spools so I will have to try and finish it later on

    Cool, except for that ugly glock But I guess them sweet XD's make up for it

    How did you mount the spools on the door? My door is lined with sheetrock. That is what is used for fire protcetion in safes. Then it is covered with felt. I want the spools to be sturdy so the pistols dont fall off. The door is a moving object so it has to be secure. Thanks in advance.

    The spools are mounted with wood screws. There is ply wood behind the carpet.also I used washers to shim the spools out were needed. if you just have sheet rock it probably wont hold real good
