Kel Tec Sub2k WWB Issue
Well I tried out my sub 2k the other day at the range, also brought my PF9
And well below is what it did to some Winchester white box (WWB) ammo.
It kept having FTE (Failure To Extract) malfunctions.
It would slam the slide on an empty casing and try load one at the same time.
The Federal 9mm I used worked perfect but the WWB had all the problems.
ALSO just noticed these small cracks, are everyone sub2k's like this or did the shell casings do this?

Wow,I know some ammo brands work better in the same gun but that's a really big issue. Any idea why ?

I had the same problem, first time out.
I sent mine back to Kel-Tec and they made necessary repairs.
About a 3 week turnound.

Re: Kel Tec Sub2k WWB Issue
I've only had problems with Blazer steel cased ammo on my Sub. Apparently, its a HUGE no-no to use steel cased ammo in a sub2k.
Mine eats WWB like nothing.==============

Re: Kel Tec Sub2k WWB Issue
hmmm...
Well the federal 9mm is only like $1.00-$2.00 more if I buy that instead of WWB.
As the WWB is like 21 something for 100 rounds and 2 boxes of 50 of federal is like 22.30
BUT I do only have good things to say about my sub 2000. Its accurate as hell! Right where I had the sight is exactly where the hole went .Last edited by NuclearSociety; June 24th, 2011 at 11:55 AM.

Ah, I know that squared keyhole blown in the case.
The round is not seating all the way in the chamber. and the pressure is blowing the cases out.[account deactivated]
