    Default 9mm Crimped Primers?

I have a can full of 9mm casings cleaned and ready to reload on my Dillon 550 and I'm wondering if I need to go through them and search for crimped primers. I've popped a sampling with my handheld deprimer and haven't found any yet. Is it necessary and worth the effort?

Only 9mm that would be crimped would be NATO stamped, all commercial stuff should be gtg.
    Today was a good day!

I think I did have problems with a non NATO stamped case but I can't remember the brand because I started using this on all of my cases before reloading.

Yeah but that kind of defeats the purpose of a progressive loader. I have a variety of mfg's casings, including Winchester White Box, which I thought was military overruns but thus far, have not found any crimps.

I never checked any of mine, I just don't load 100mph If one doesn't want to give, I remove it. Hell, I cant tell you how many 9x18's
and 380 I've loaded by accident.

I deprimed a bunch of 9mm brass recently, about 1 in every 20 pieces I'd get one that would push the decapping pin up. Finally realized it was Norma casings causing the problem. Might want to check your headstamps for any Norma stuff.

Also, a good finish nail makes for a good primer remover pin.

I broke one pin so far. I used a drill bit for replacement.

I had many Winchester NATO cases in my 9mm so I went through and swaged thousands of them years ago. I used a Lee APP to do it so it didn't take too long.
