WTS: 88 Mustang (modded)
I'm going to sell the Mustang since I'm just not interested in working on it or paying the money needed to get it where I want it.
This is an 88 LX 5.0 with a T5.
My stepfather bought it new. We used to go to Cecil County Dragway to bracket race on Sunday's. I raced my Olds, he raced this car. Obviously, it's been driven hard, but well maintained mechanically. Synthetic fluids, etc. It lived most of it's life outside, so the paint is shot, but it's never been in an accident. Just over 100K miles on it. When it was running good, it ran a best of 12.7@110 granny shifting. It's a running car, but the inspection stickers expire at the end of June.
Short list of mods:
Trick Flow Twisted Wedge heads
Crane 1.7 roller rockers
Edelbrock Performer intake
MAC full length headers
off road H pipe
high flow catted H pipe included as well
2.5 inch dual exhaust with Dynamax mufflers
B303 cam
24# injectors
high volume fuel pump
adj. fuel pressure regulator
underdrive pullies
Optima Red Top battery
B&M shifter with button wired to line lock
T5 trans--was rebuilt to "world class specs" about 10K miles ago
Moser axles
Richmond 4.10 gears
diff was rebuilt about 10K ago too and is still VERY tight
soild motor mounts
Southside traction bars
Eibach springs--bought full set a short while ago and only installed the rears--had to replace the drag springs
KYB AGX adjustable shocks--only installed on the rear--less than 500 miles on them--the fronts are new and sitting in the garage
The rear seat and interior trim have been removed, but I still have it all.
sub frame connectors
driveshaft loop
Pony wheels with 75% tread in front and BFG Drag Radials in back--probably 1/2 tread left
I put Powerslot slotted rotors and new pads on the front not too long ago
new hoses (Goodyear blue)
bunch of spare parts
plus more
The bad:
needs paint and minor body work--some surface rust spots that need repair on roof and hood.
running very rich right now--don't know why
rear hatch needs small repair where the rubber adjustment bumpers are
rear quarters need small repair--the wheelwell lip was rolled to allow larger tires
wiper blades, linkage, and motor removed, but still have it all and it works fine
I can provide pics if needed.
I'd like to get $2500 since I could probably part it out for more, but I'm too lazyLast edited by 625; July 30th, 2008 at 10:33 AM. Reason: clarify

Last bump before it goes to Ebay or I just part it out. It runs great, but very rich.

Ok, this really is the last bump. It's on Craig's List today. Just posted, so it should go on soon.
