Hello
I just joined and wanted to say hello. I am currently livng in NY just 7 miles from the PA state line. Was born and raised in McKean Co. and live 7 miles from Warren Co now.
I have been in exile for some time now, had to go where the work was. Soon I expect to escape and return home, but in the interm I thought Id be able to get a feel for what was going on back in the free zone. I wanna joine the ZRT too! Going to retire in a few years and will most likley be moving to Warren Co then, if not before.

Re: Hello
Thanks all, Yup, Im really tired of this state, pretty repressive for gun owners. I have carry permits in NY, PA and FLa. But you have to jump through hoops in NY. The good thing is the Sherriff in the county is pretty gun friendly. Not so the rest of the state. By the way Im in Sugar Grove all the time, and a good friend lives in Lander. In this area we are back and forth across the line all the time.

Re: Hello
If you only live 7 miles from the PA border, it seems like you could move to PA and not have to change jobs immediately. I would be in a huge hurry to escape the tyranny of NYS.

Re: Hello
Welcome aboard! I got a good taste of your fellow New Yorkers on tax day when the people of Matamoras, PA and Port Jervis, NY (and surrounding areas from either side of the border) came together to protest excessive government spending. It was a great evening. Glad to see another NY patriot!
