My op-ed on Beaver Co. Sheriff - A Little Bit of Tyranny is a Little Bit Too Much
For any of you who have been keeping up on the fun and excitement provided by our sheriff here in Beaver County, I wanted to give you an opportunity to read an op-ed that I wrote last week that was just published this weekend. Let me know what you guys think. Any and all feedback is accepted. I hope you all enjoy. Here's the link:

Re: My op-ed about Beaver County Sheriff
That was excellent. I had no idea this was going on as I'm on the eastern part of the state. So I started Googling... I saw he was arrested earlier this year and is still the sheriff? When does the criminal trial start?

Re: My op-ed about Beaver County Sheriff
Because he's been charged, not convicted. Remember, despite all the facts that may be mounted against him, he, like all of us, is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. He, too, is protected by the Constitution and, despite the fact that he has wronged so many and denied so many their rights, we mustn't stoop to his level and deny him the same Constitutional rights that we expect to have ourselves.
Obligatory IANAL!

I thought your op-ed was great.
More importantly, I will confirm that you have made a significant difference. Since your actions and the above referenced article, I was able to get my LTCF. My record is just the same as when I had been previously denied by the Sheriff for "character and reputation", but this time I walked in and 15 minutes later I walked out with LTCF in hand.
I sincerely thank you for all that you have done. I owe you (at least) one.
Now if only Beaver County can rid itself of the crooked ass sheriff come next election.
