Default Police: Teen Shot Over Snowball Fight

When are grown-ups going to take responsibility and keep their guns secured?

If you guessed that this can only happen in Philadelphia, you are correct, sir.

I feel terrible for the kid and his family.

My guess would that the shooter has a prior record and had the firearm illegally. Just pure speculation on my part.

Not only that, why aren't these parents teaching their children that guns shouldn't IN ANY WAY be used to settle an argument? If these parents were doing their jobs and raising their kids to be decent people, it wouldn't matter if the guns were locked up or not.

The girl tells CBS 3 another adult male witnessed the incident and became enraged.
According to info in the article, it wasn't a kid that did the shooting. It was an adult male who saw the errant snowball and got angry.

Police said the adult male became enraged and left the scene, returning moments later with a gun
    It was a "grown-up"

Please Note: The poster was issued a warning for this post.

Dare I suggest that the suspect, perhaps is, African-American?

Edit: I received a warning on this post, but I fail to see why this is "bordeline hateful." I suppose that's what the little yellow icon, lower right means. I never said anything about hating African Americans. It's a reasonable assumption based on the type of crime, area of crime and Philadelphia's demographics. See that attached DOJ report in a later post...

Why is that important to suggest?
