RGrizzle Leather Holsters
Does anyone in the Philly area have any products from RGRizzle Leather? I am looking to see the craftsmanship in person before potentially ordering something.
Thanks

Re: RGrizzle Leather Holsters
I have two of his holsters. I have the Georgia Peach model. They are excellent. I just wish he made a retention model. They are tight and hold well but active retention is something different.
I have one for my xd compact 45 and my sp101! The black is nice and the mahogany is awesome.

Re: RGrizzle Leather Holsters
Thanks for the reply. Would you by any chance be able to provide an opinion as how his work compares to Lobo Gun Leather?

Re: RGrizzle Leather Holsters
I am not familiar with Logo but have heard some, not a lot, of negative posts so I went with Ryan. Mainly because of the style of the holster.
I will also check out Zookeeper as posted by someone else.

Re: RGrizzle Leather Holsters
I've got a Grizzle pocket holster, the craftsmanship is top notch. Ryan has an excellent and well earned reputation. He's a favorite holster maker over at sigforum. Since I purchased this pocket holster his delivery time has increased along with his popularity. Although it's in line with most high-end custom holster makers.
I'm also very fond of Hopp Custom Leather and have purchased from him recently. Both makers provide a high quality product and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend either of them.

Blindref on here has a bunch of rgrizzle holsters and belts, he never has anything but the best things to say about Ryan's operation. I want one badly but the lead time made me wait unfortunately.

Re: RGrizzle Leather Holsters
After years of swearing by my Blade Tech IWB Ultimate Concealment holster the belt clip/loop broke so I decided to try something different and go with a leather holster, RGrizzle had the most favorable recommendations here. They are expensive and you do wait quite awhile for it to arrive. My only complaint is one of the leather gizmos glued on the back to hide the rivet came off as can be seen in my last photo.
This holster, hugely different from my last, took some getting used to but overall it's a quality holster. Be sure to locktite any screws once you have it adjusted correctly, they will come loose after a while.
