Ha, that was funny. My favorite ghetto names are the ones that are spelled right, but they pronounce them differently.

    Examples: Michelle (Mee'Shell)
    Leonard (La'Nard)

Also when they take a normal word but change the spelling. I was watching Pimp My Ride, yeah I know, and there was this girl whose name was Spechelle, pronounced special.

My wife's aunt is a teacher in VA Beach, and she was telling us how she was talking to a mother of one of her students who saw the most beautiful name in the paper, and she just had to give the name to her new daughter. This mother went on to say that it had the most wonderful sound and it just spoke to her. The name was pronounced feh-ma-lay, and the mother just knew by the spelling that it was a wonderful french name and she was so proud that her new daughter would have a beautiful sounding french name.

Actual spelling of the word: Female.

True story, can't make that crap up.

How do you teach a 1st. grader to write V'lanta'la'mana'ma'nish or Ka'Likatifrianiqua? How would you like to go through life having to write that every time you sign your name?

Find me the definition of "Femalé"

Adding the é doesn't make a word french, or even make it a real word.

The woman got it from the paper, she read the word 'female' and thought it was a persons' name due to poor reading comprehension.

Just think how bad it will go for the child if the child learns to read. If being a big word in that household.

Can you imagine what the kid would have to put up with it she gave that name to her son?
