My Lil Brother shipped off to Iraq today.....

Well today was the day. It has been coming for sometime but, you know that makes it no easier. The weekend was filled with tearful goodbyes, wishes for a safe return and telling him we are all proud. He shipped from Ft. Polk La this morning with the rest of his unit. He is a Sgt E5, with the MP Corps and is looking forward to being over seas again.

Anyway just wanted to share with you guys and ask for prayers for him and continued prayers for the rest of men and women in uniform.

Good luck to your brother my prayers are with him and your family. I have alot of close ones' in the military, My father was in for 26 years. It can be tough but it is a noble act. I'm sure your proud.

My oldest brother has been in the sandbox almost exclusively since Desert storm. I know the feeling. His choice to be a career guy, he loves it and wouldn't have it any other way. 24 years later he's getting ready to hang it up this July when he returns. Prayers sent out for your brother.

Tell him to keep his head down and trust his CREW system.........I'm leaving Speicher and heading to Liberty upon return from leave but I'll be at the CREW RSC there until December at least if he wants to pop in and talk guns.
